This is a thick stew that is full of various ingredients, such as potatoes, squash, okra, and aubergine. It generally includes some type of meat, with the most common type of meat being beef. Generally, dumplings are added to the dish to add a little extra texture and taste. This is a dish with a lot of variation.   

Roast Pork  

Another dish you should try out is a roast pork dish. Roast pork dishes are most common on Caribbean islands with a Spanish influence, such as Cuba. The pork is simmered, creating meat that is juicy, soft, and full of flavor. It is often roasted and cooked on the ground. It is usually served with other foods, such as rice, beans, and plantains. It is a hearty dish that is full of flavor.
