3 Cool Milkshake Recipes To Serve At Your Restaurant
Having milkshake machines in your restaurant allows you to create chilly, creamy drinks that appeal to the masses. Homemade milkshakes are getting harder and harder to find, and you may have a decent number of customers who show up specifically for milkshakes! Of course, the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry shakes are delectable, but you don't have to stick to the basics. Here are three cool milkshake recipes to consider adding to the menu.
1. Muddy Monster
Anyone who loves peanut butter, chocolate, and caramel will love this ooey, gooey creation. For one shake, you will need:
- 1 large scoops of chocolate ice cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons toffee bits
- 2 tablespoons chopped peanut butter cups
Blend the peanut butter, ice cream, milk, and chocolate sauce up together, using your milkshake machine. Gently stir in the remaining ingredients, leaving plenty of the toffee bits and peanut butter cup pieces exposed on the top.
2. Double Chocolate, Double Cherry
Chocolate and cherries are a classic combination, but this milkshake really takes it over the top. For one shake, you will need:
- 2 large scoops chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
- 4 - 6 fresh cherries, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Use your milkshake machine to blend together the milk, cherry juice, and ice cream. If the mixture seems a bit thin, add another small scoop of ice cream. Stir in the cherries and chocolate chips. For a special touch, top with a whole maraschino cherry before serving.
3. Lemon Meringue Pie
Lemon meringue pie is so delicious, but this milkshake is so much easier to make. Its light flavor makes it a good choice for summer. For one shake, you'll need:
- 2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup lemon pie filling
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs
Blend the ice cream, lemon pie filling, and milk together in the milkshake machine. Gently stir in the chocolate chips, and top with the graham cracker crumbs. This one is especially delicious with plenty of whipped cream on top.
These three milkshakes will really start a stir if you add them to the menu! You can also offer them in an extra-large size — just double the recipes above. You may also give guests the option of adding extra whipped cream to the top for an extra fifty cents.
